I seem to have been spending more and more time at Findhorn beach and the estuary lately. It is located just to the West of where I live. It is amazing however what a difference 17 miles can make to the pattern and movement of the clouds and also it seems to the light. These eel like clouds slithered very slowly across my composition and although a 6 stop ND polariser had little effect on them it allowed me to flatten the wave movement of the sea during the 2 minute exposure and pleasingly simplified my composition.
